This lesson contains seven modules or steps.

In Step One teachers will learn how to ope their grade books.

In Step Two teachers will learn how to add student last names.

In Step Three teachers will learn how to add student first names.

In Step Four teachers will learn how to enter assignment dates.

In Step Five teachers will learn how to enter grades.

In Step Six teachere will learn how Excel automatically computes averages.

Lesson Two will focus on weighting grades.

Each module in Lesson Two will define the process of assigning weights to grades in a step by step, easy to follow process.

Lesson Three will help teachers set up their own gradebooks.

Teachers will first learn how to add rows for student names.

Next, they will learn to add columns for various assignments.

Next they will learn how to add functions.

Fianally they will add varous weights for different assignments.

Lesson Four is the final lesson. Teachers will learn how to maintain their gradebooks. and submit data to the school secretary.

Teachers will learn how to add their class list to their gradebooks, and what to do if they get new student or have a student move away.

Teachers will review how to add grades, and how to add columns for extra assignments, quizzes or tests.

Teachers will review how Excel computes the ongoing average and how to create individual student progress reports
