Curricular Integration: Social Studies, Language Arts, Technology, Collaboration, Fine Arts Grade Level: 4th and 5th Project Description: Students will study the lives of Native Californians and Native Americans. They will work in cooperative groups to research different aspects of the Native Californians and Native Americans before the arrival of Europeans, and how that contact and interaction changed their lives. The groups will develop and share a Power Point presentation on what they learned. The students will reflect on what they learned and respond in a variety of ways to a class book. |
