Assessment

Assessment will include:

studentteacher Informal Teacher Observation: Used to adjust to better meet the needs and to support students.

Student self evaluation: studentgrading

After students present their information, ask them to write a self-evaluation. Students should ask themselves questions such as:

Were my facts organized?
Was my presentation in the best format?
Did I present my information in a clear and understandable manner?
What did I like best about my presentation?
What could I have done better?

Teacher will conference with students to discuss their self-evaluations.

Home evaluation:
In addition, send as homework an evaluation form , with envelope for the students to fill out regarding themselves and others in thie group. The form is to be returned the next day in the sealed envelope. To encourage an honest opinion, all envelopes will go home with the teacher, and never be brought back to school.
